Elmar Sprink is considered the fittest heart transplanted person in the world. For almost nine years, the East Westphalian has been on the road with a donor heart - as a triathlete, trail runner, mountain biker, mountain climber, snowboarder, skier and surfer. On the way back, sport was both motivation and vehicle, he says today. A story of someone who consciously enjoys his second chance.
