New Hampshire Magazine
February 26, 2021
It’s hard to imagine the mask-free world just over a year ago, when
New Hampshire Magazine honored me as one of their presidential “Primary Superfans” for zealously pursuing goofy photo-ops from Nashua to Dixville Notch (and every square inch of granite in between).
For the past four presidential election cycles, I’ve photographed White House hopefuls with my favorite cartoon character – Dino Flintstone – as they’ve stampeded through New Hampshire’s apple farms, ice cream stands and diners. It’s a profoundly different ask than the selfie and autograph requests that politicians typically receive. The dinosaur doll catches them off-guard and forces them to momentarily go off script.

One step forward, two steps back – so goes the pandemic dance.
We had just introduced our new North Bay Live concert series, when the second lockdown forced us to reschedule. This means we cannot stage and stream these events from inside our theatre right now.
As soon as the extension was announced last week, we reached out to our performing artists to negotiate new concert dates, and we’re pleased they were all gracious enough to work with us on new performance dates. The concerts will be streamed live from our stage to our Facebook page on March 9, 16 and 23. We are providing these concerts at no cost for people to enjoy, and more information can be found on our website at capitolcentre.org.
