“Young Rock” and “Kenan” have both been renewed for Season 2 at NBC.
“It has been a true joy to watch Dwayne Johnson & Kenan Thompson on NBC every week and see families connect with their relatable, entertaining and heartwarming stories,” said Lisa Katz, president of scripted programming for NBCUniversal Television and Streaming. “We’re thrilled to renew both of these shows for another season and can’t wait to see more from Dwayne, Kenan and the incredibly talented casts and producing teams behind each of them.”

The new Netflix series Dad Stop Embarrassing Me! starring Jamie Foxx might be the entertainer s first television show to flop.
You d think the Grammy Award-winner would have put more effort into the show considering his background and previous shows like The Jamie Foxx Show under his belt.
The show is executive produced by Jamie Foxx and his daughter Corinne Foxx, along with The Jamie Foxx Show creator Bentley Kyle Evans, and director Ken Whittingham. Dad Stop Embarrassing Me! is a sitcom inspired by Jamie and Corinne’s father-daughter relationship.

Brian Dixon (Jamie Foxx), successful business owner and bachelor, just became a full-time father to his teenage daughter Sasha (Kyla-Drew). Determined to be the best father he can be, Brian’s going to need all the help he can get from his dad (David Alan Grier) and sister (Porscha Coleman) and Sasha’s going to need all the help she can get learning how to deal with her new, lovingly chaotic.
Full of heart and humour, Dad Stop Embarrassing Me is inspired by Foxx’s real-life relationship with daughter Corinne Foxx, who also serves as executive producer. The multi-cam sitcom reunites Foxx with showrunner Bentley Kyle Evans (The Jamie Foxx Show) and is directed by Ken Whittingham (black-ish).
