Years ago, Tig Notaro became one of the most talked about comedians in the world after performing a legendary set about having breast cancer just days after her diagnosis. Today, she is making headlines for her performance in one of the most popular new movies on Netflix, Zack Snyderâs
Army of the Dead, which was originally shot in full with Chris DâElia before she was added digitally and quite seamlessly to replace De Elia in the movie. Personally, I cannot imagine the role of badass, wisecracking helicopter pilot, Peters, as being any better without Tig Notaro in

Sacha Baron Cohen Almost Played a Mime in a Movie Audiences Won t Ever See
Sacha Baron Cohen was set to play a mime in Cochran & LaFarge but the movie was scrapped after Disney s acquisition of Fox.
In 2019, Disney acquired Fox for a reported $71.3 billion in one of the biggest and most talked about deals in Hollywood history. Mom has only gotten better with the departure of Anna Faris. We so seldom see a group of women in the main roles covering many important and sometimes difficult subjects with such humor and wit. And the show (as well as
MacGyver and
NCIS: NOLA) has been consistently high in the ratings. We need shows like
Mom to show how important (and rewarding) friendships with other women are in our lives. Is there another network out there that understands this and will pick up the show, or will CBS please wake up and renew it (and the others)?! â
