Caroline Wilson is expecting Collingwood to approach Mark Williams about the coaching vacancy.
The Magpies are on the hunt for a replacement for Nathan Buckley with a number of names being linked with the top job at the Holden Centre.
Port Adelaide premiership coach Williams has been linked from the start, but Wilson believes the sub-committee tasked with finding the new coach have him “squarely” in their sights.

Why Essendon should be âchips inâ on emerging star

Would acquiring a ready-made key forward make Essendon a genuine finals threat?
Harrison Jones is raw but has shown plenty of promise while veteran Cale Hooker, the main focal point in Essendonâs attack, isnât getting any younger.

After kicking five goals in the VFL last week, Brown was almost completely unsighted this weekend, finishing with three disposals and no score.
Sam Weideman kicked three, but has recently had his shot in the AFL side.
