The Catholic bishops in Kenya have announced their support for vaccination efforts in the East African nation, saying it is lawful and ethically acceptable to receive all vaccines against COVID-19 that the Ministry of Health recognizes as clinically authentic, safe and effective .
Bishop Philip Anyolo, president of the Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops (KCCB) read out a statement on March 9 that encouraged and praised the national government for working tirelessly to ensure that the most vulnerable Kenyans have access to the COVID-19 vaccine .
