The film takes place in 1962. Goodman plays a William Castle-inspired movie promoter named Lawrence Woolsey. Fifteen-year-old Gene Loomis (Simone Fenton) can’t wait for Woolsey’s arrival. The big man is in Key West to promote his latest offering,
Mant! But Woolsey’s absurd tale takes on a sudden urgency. The Cuban Missile Crises places the real threat of atomic horror just off the coast. With the help of his leading lady (Cathy Moriarty), Woolsey gives Key West a premiere they’ll never forget. Anything can happen in the movies. And everything does in this hilarious tribute to a more innocent (and outrageous) time in American cinema.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. Why was there a Boston police car parked on Staten Island?
That’s what some Staten Islanders questioned Tuesday, when a blue and white car marked “Boston Police” appeared on a side street near Tappen Park in Stapleton. The car was confirmed to be a prop in the Showtime television series “City on a Hill.” The production arrived on Staten Island Tuesday as early as 5 a.m., according to signage posted around the area.

It might not be Halloween, but
Casper was recently added to Netflix in the UK and with little else to do right now, fans have been revisiting the 1995 classic.
One long-running topic of debate has been about the ghosts appearances in the movie, as they appear to be inconsistent. With all due respect to Casper, he doesn t look a thing like Devon Sawa when we see Casper in his human form at the end. Like his uncles, he looks vaguely human, but it s not defined in any way.
