Kenosha Co. Sheriff news conference on Somers tavern shooting
SOMERS, Wis. - The man in custody in connection with a shooting at a southeastern Wisconsin tavern that left three men dead and three others injured was involved in a fight at the bar before coming back with a handgun and opening fire, authorities said Monday.
Rakayo Alandis Vinson, 24, appeared in court on suspicion of first-degree intentional homicide for the early Sunday shooting at the Somers House Tavern in the village of Somers. Kenosha County Court Commissioner Loren Keating set bond for Vinson at $4 million cash, citing the seriousness of the charges, Vinson s record of possession of firearms and the risk of flight. Vinson had not been formally charged as of Monday afternoon.

A 24-year-old man shot six people, three fatally, early Sunday morning at a packed Kenosha County tavern after he bumped shoulders with one of them and got into a physical fight with a group of three friends, prosecutors said Monday in a court hearing.
Kenosha County District Attorney Michael Graveley said he expects to charge Rakayo A. Vinson of Racine with three counts of first-degree intentional homicide and three counts of attempted homicide.
Vinson is being held at the Kenosha County Jail on a $4 million cash bond after he was arrested Sunday evening in Mount Pleasant.

Last night in a tavern in Kenosha, WI, three men were murdered and three more (and possibly a fourth) were wounded.
As you’ll recall, Sailer’s Law of Mass Shootings (four or more casualties) says that if there are more wounded than dead, then the shooter was probably black, but in the rarer cases where there are more dead than wounded, the shooter was probably nonblack. But what do you do when there are as many dead as wounded?
One tiebreaker is whether the mass shooting’s setting involved fun (probably black) vs. not fun such as school, church, or work (probably nonblack). This was a bar, so the tiebreaker would point toward a black shooter with above average aim.
