Feb. 1 (UPI) NBA star Kevin Love and model Kate Bock are engaged to be married.
The 32-year-old Cleveland Cavaliers player and 33-year-old model got engaged Saturday in New York while celebrating Bock s birthday.

Bock shared the news Sunday on Instagram alongside photos from Love s proposal. In one picture, Bock and Love are seen kissing while Bock wears her engagement ring on her left hand. Well, this was the best birthday surprise I could have ever imagined. I couldn t be happier to have been asked to be a Love by my love. Heart bursting all day & night, Bock captioned the post.

Grammy-nominated singer and producer SOPHIE is dead at 34, her rep announced over the weekend. The Scottish-born, L.A.-based artist died in Athens, Greece, after a “terrible accident,” her record label Transgressive said in a statement. “True to her spirituality she had climbed up to watch the full moon and accidentally slipped and fell. She will always be here with us. The family thank everyone for their love and support and request privacy at this devastating time,” the label said. Sharing that the romantic proposal took place on Saturday evening at a private dining space outdoors at their close friend s restaurant, Lilia, in Brooklyn, Bock says that Love, 32, picked out her gorgeous engagement ring all on his own. I wasn t involved in the ring design at all. Kevin did it all himself, she tells PEOPLE. It s gorgeous. I couldn t love it more! It s a vintage diamond cut from the 1930s for Cartier and it s set in a very chic vintage Cartier setting.
