Kilkenny GAA players invited to get ready for action with new training seminar

The Gaelic Games family today launched ‘Be Ready to Play’, a Coaching and Sport Science programme in association with UPMC, official healthcare partner of the GAA and GPA, that will be delivered via webinars, website programmes, instructional videos and live online sessions.
The programme is a holistic coaching and performance plan that will be of great benefit to all club coaches and players, male, female, adult, and youth alike.

Greenland Melting, Not So Fast

THE SCIENCE IS NOT COMPLETE. That’s all I’m saying. We are about to change our entire way of life for an undecided science, the science of “global warming,” now known by the generic, difficult to dispute, “climate change.”
The media often promotes fears of Greenland’s ice melting with a subsequent catastrophic rise in the sea levels. This appears to be in conflict with the latest scientific studies, though National Geographic insists the ice is indeed melting, but at a much slower rate than previously thought.
