iQ Credit Union announced that Jeremy Wiersma has joined the credit union as vice president of business services. Wiersma will lead iQ’s business services department. Most recently he was employed as a commercial team leader at Gesa Credit Union.
Share recently promoted Katie Louis and Nicky Ferguson, and hired Marques Giles. Louis was promoted to replace Dee Sanders, who retired, as the director of the Affordable Housing and Stability program. Louis has worked at Share for seven years, beginning as a part-time case manager at Share Homestead. Giles was hired to replace Louis as the director of the Collaborative Housing program. Schools across Greater Manchester have been thanked by families for all they have done to support them during the pandemic. In an article last week about executive headteacher Chris Hanson praising families and staff at Corpus Christi RC Primary in Chadderton, Oldham, for pulling together amid the pandemic, we asked parents to tell us who they wanted to thank.

Parents have been praising the teachers and schools who have gone above and beyond to help children in Greater Manchester throughout lockdown.
