RENO, Nev. – Heidi Donkle Conn, 65, of Turner, Maine, and Sparks, Nev., was taken from earth too soon on Jan. 29, 2021.
A loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister, and friend, Heidi was an outdoor enthusiast and the matriarch of her family. The littlest loves of her life, her four grandchildren, called her Oma. Heidi took her final breaths in Reno, Nev., alongside her husband, Doug; daughter, Gretchen; son, Wayne; son-in-law, Jeremy; and daughter-in-law, Katie, all by her side physically and virtually.

HIGH SHOALS, N.C. (WBTV) - A High Shoals woman turned a $5 scratch-off ticket into a $200,000 lottery win.
Technically, Katie Link received $141,501 after paying a required nearly $60,000 in state and federal taxes.
Link purchased the winning Mega Bucks ticket at Dean’s Superette on South Lincoln Street in Dallas. She claimed her prize Thursday at the lottery’s Charlotte office.
Eight of the remaining 10 $200,000 Mega Bucks prizes remain to be won.
