WELCOME BACK!!! Despite a scorching hot stove (I can’t believe the player you’re thinking of did or did not sign with the team you thought they would!), these long winter months can be some of the darkest of the year (figuratively and literally). But fear not, restless readers. The Dynasty Guru is here to the rescue.
While you were quarantining and enjoying virtual holidays, our brave group of writers has been ranking, debating, re-ranking, re-debating, and re-re-ranking over 600 players for dynasty leagues. The fruits of our efforts will be filling January and February with the deepest, most thoroughly and painstakingly selected dynasty baseball rankings on the internet. We have top-40s, top-50s, top-125s, top-200s, and of course top-500s.

This hockey season is not a usual season - and Matt Flodell is not your usual captain. The captain of this year’s Flin Flon Bomber roster has had to assume a different role this year, due in large part to the team’s suspension of activity due to COVID-19 and related health measures. The soon-to-be-20-year-old forward, now in his third full season with the team, is doing the same as the rest of his teammates - spending the holidays at home, waiting for word on what comes next and staying cautiously optimistic.

The Rushmore Thunder boys varsity hockey team has entered the holiday break without a loss on their record.
Behind Miles Retzerâs hat trick, eight different skaters tallied points Sunday afternoon and Brady Devries stopped all shots in net as the Thunder blanked the Huron All Stars 7-0 at the Rushmore Thunderdome.Â
âIt was nice to see that we got some scoring from different guys again. We have a lot of depth this year, so our scoring isnât one line or one guy. We have a lot of guys contributing,â Thunder head coach Brendon Hodge said. âEvery time you can get a shutout youâre obviously proud of the defensive side of things too, so I was happy with that.â
