Richard Keogh is back in the Championship
Richard Keogh is back in the Championship after completing a move to Hudddersfield Town from MK Dons.
The 26-times capped Republic of Ireland international came to the League One Dons as a free agent in the summer.
In October 2019, Keogh had his contract terminated by Derby County having been involved in a car crash which resulted in former team-mates Tom Lawrence and Mason Bennett being convicted of drink-driving.
Keogh suffered a serious knee injury during the incident and was dismissed for gross misconduct.
The 34-year-old got his playing career back on track at the Dons and has now earned a move to Huddersfield, with their head coach Carlos Corberan hopeful his presence can help his 14th-placed side rise up the table.

The end of 2020 couldnât get here fast enough for many. Itâs been the year of the toilet paper shortage, face masks, quarantines, job losses and political strife. It will be remembered as the Presidential election year when a pandemic altered life for people across the globe.
Coronavirus affected life in Madison County, too. And there were numerous COVID-19 stories on the front page of The Madison County Journal in 2020, but there was plenty of local news not related to the virus this year.
Here is a look back at front-page news in The Journal in 2020:
JANUARY
â¢Madison County commissioners voted 5-0 to include a referendum on the 2020 General Election ballot to allow voters to decide on whether to give senior citizens a break on their property tax bills.
MILLWALL followed up their first win in 11 games with another frustrating home draw.
The home side took the lead just after the half-time interval when Jon Dadi Bodvarsson’s cross was turned home by Tom Bradshaw.
But their lead was short-lived as Alex Mighten levelled for the visitors straight from the restart.
Match Details
Millwall started brightly and were on the front foot in the opening minutes. Jed Wallace was denied in the fifth minute by what looked to be a handball but referee Oliver Langford signalled for a corner which came to nothing.
The visitors responded with a chance of their own, a dangerous ball across the box but Lewis Grabban was just unable to make contact with it. Four minutes later Mbe Sow headed onto the post from a Forest free-kick, but he was offside.
