Chillicothe students test out virtual reality classroom The owners of Objective Reality Games were looking for a new venture after the pandemic put a strain on the virtual reality business. Author: Brittany Bailey Updated: 7:45 PM EDT April 1, 2021 The possibilities are endless. That’s what one 8th-grader at Bishop Flaget School in Chillicothe had to say about VR Classroom. It’s the latest creation from Objective Reality Games, a virtual reality company based in Chillicothe. “I see a lot of potential in the VR learning,” said Colin Rose, who owns the company with his wife, Sara. “We designed it in a way that it’s compatible with every E-based learning platform. So it’s not like we want to replace what the teachers are used to. We just want to make this an enhancement for the student at home.”

Addiction Is Not a Crime The Drug War Is

Every defendant a Josef K. (© FlaglerLive) Every morning I check the court docket for cases worth reporting on. Almost every morning I’m repelled by the futility and embarrassed for the judges, the attorneys, the clerks, cops and especially the defendants who are humiliated through the judicial gauntlet at our expense over idiotic drug charges that don’t belong in court. Most are for mere possession.  Next Monday a 38-year-old Flagler Beach guy is getting sentenced for possession of ecstasy. A 29-year-old Palm Coast man is pleading guilty to possession of pot. A 26-year-old Jacksonville man is pleading to possession of cocaine. A 19-year-old St. Augustine man who’s been sitting in jail since January 22 on a meth possession–Sheriff Rick Staly was involved in that arrest–is hoping to reduce his $1,000-bond: he can’t even afford to post the $100 it takes to bail out of the jail that costs us over $8 million a year to run. There are also 10 arraignments on Monday. Three a

After staking themselves to a 50-42 lead at halftime, the Warriors held steady in the second half as the Cougars fought to get back in the game. Noah Koth led the Warriors with 24 points, and Will Case was close behind with 22. Mason Brown had 11 points, Ryan Schorno had 8 and Joe Weiss had 5. North Huron head coach Matt Shears said the Warriors had the chance to “knock some of the rust off” on Friday night after being sidelined by the suspension of contact sports in Michigan. North Huron’s offense was clicking at the beginning of the game, he said, but the lack of playing time became apparent as fouls and turnovers piled up.

MK Dons 2-2 Sunderland

MK Dons 2-2 Sunderland AFC Sunderland had to settle for a point on Saturday against MK Dons following an end-to-end encounter at Stadium MK. Charlie Wyke’s 17th goal of the season opened the scoring early on, but the Dons struck back and led with just 19 minutes on the clock courtesy of Joe Mason and Cameron Jerome. Chances fell to both sides before and after the restart, but Luke O’Nien made his count to ensure parity was restored on 56 minutes. The Lads should have been awarded a penalty soon after for a clear handball inside the 18-yard box, but the officials waved play on.
