Fine for woman who failed to stop after accident at Broughton Retail Park

A WOMAN who drove without due care and attention and failed to stop after an accident has been fined. Susan May Jones, of Ffordd Tywod in Mold, 71, appeared at Mold Magistrates Court on Wednesday. She admitted on December 3, 2019, she drove a vehicle at Broughton Retail Park without due care and attention and that an accident occurred whereby damage was caused to another vehicle and she failed to stop. For driving without due care and attention, she was fined £217 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32, as well as £85 costs. Jones’ driving record was endorsed with five points. No separate penalty was imposed for failing to stop.
