Over 1,000 commercial insurers have signed up for the free Commercial Lines Innovation USA Virtual Event, which is taking place online from May 18-21 and presented by Intelligent Insurer.
The event will look at technology and innovation for commercial lines insurance, featuring in-depth case studies, exclusive fireside chats and panel debates, with more than 15 hours of content offered in total.
The event will provide the knowledge and insights needed to tackle the data challenge for commercial lines, transform inefficient operations, adapt to changing customer needs and respond to the evolving distribution landscape.

WorkSafe Saskatchewan is hoping that a newly released suite of tools will help businesses better care for the psychological needs of their workers.
On Wednesday WorkSafe Saskatchewan launched an online psychological resource centre for employers and workers. The goal of the resource is to equip managers and supervisors with the tools they need to develop psychologically healthy and safe workplaces.
The resource centre was created and launched in partnership with Dr. Joti Samra, a national expert on issues relating to psychological health, wellness and resilience who has contributed significantly to the development of Canada’s world-first national standards for psychological health and safety in the workplace. That’s where a new website from WorkSafe Saskatchewan comes in. It aims to help any worker or employer in the province navigate stress on the job.
“Over the past several years, we’ve seen Saskatchewan workplaces dealing with unique psychological health and safety challenges. That reinforces the importance of providing Saskatchewan employers and workers with the tools they need to support mental health and safety in their workplaces,” Kevin Mooney, the Workers’ Compensation Board’s vice-president of prevention and employer services, said in a news release.
The psychological health and safety resource centre has information, videos, webinars and workshops that can be accessed.
