A MAN who was made redundant from his job as a warehouse manager last year has scooped a £15,000 cash prize thanks to online competitions company BOTB. Kevin Bell, 56, was at home in Didcot with his wife, Sue, when BOTB’s Christian Williams video-called to tell him he was this week’s Luxury Lifestyle Competition winner and now £15,000 richer. He only paid 75p for his ticket to enter the competition and said the timing was “perfect”. He said: “I lost my job last year because of the pandemic and it has been a really tough few months. Obviously we’ve got bills to pay and we’re also looking after my mother-in-law who’s in her 90s so it’s been a hard year. This money will go such a long way.”
