The finest pacers in Eastern Canada will resume their rivalry in Saturday evening s (June 5) $3,400 Preferred Pace at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

The Fillies and Mares Preferred Pace lines up in Race 9 for a $3,100 purse as Woodmere Skyroller draws post 4 in her first start since her championship three-year-old season. Trainer Kevin MacLean has entrusted the driving duties to Corey MacPherson, who last sat behind the mare in her two-year-old season when he won the Atlantic Breeder’s Crown with the daughter of Rollwithitharry. Owned by Reg MacPherson of Stratford, Woodmere Skyroller boasts 17 wins from 38 starts along with $123,422 in earnings. She is installed at 4-1 on the morning line.
