Most people don’t start out with a messy closet. Even when a closet is carefully organized at the beginning, however, it might not take long for order to turn to chaos.
“It’s common for clients to struggle with keeping the momentum going,” says interior designer Caitlin Murray.
But there are planning and design strategies to help closets stay as organized as they were on day one.
We’ve asked Murray, founder of the Los Angeles-based Black Lacquer Design, and two other experts Delaware-based home designer and builder Marnie Oursler, and Elena Eskandari, an interior design specialist with Case Design/Remodeling in the Washington, D.C., area for advice on planning and living with efficient and attractive closet space.
Chapels and churches almost everywhere serve purposes beyond ministering to the faithful. That’s particularly true in Vail, where one chapel serves many congregations.
Almost since the doors opened in 1969, the chapel has served as a community center for meetings and events, from concerts to weddings to meetings of various 12-step groups. The chapel also serves as a haven for travelers stranded when Interstate 70 is closed over Vail Pass.
When work starts in April of 2021 on putting a new roof on the chapel and repaving the parking lot the first part of a $10 million capital campaign that work will be done around the myriad community groups that use the chapel.

URFC Historical Moments, #6: Becky Sauerbrunn, the goal scorer
Becky Sauerbrunn: Captain of the USWNT, captain of the Utah Royals, captain of our fandom’s memories.

In writing and reflecting on the Utah Royals FC brief history, it’s hard not to feel some pain mixed with the fondness and happy memories. Utah’s performance on September 6th, 2019 and Becky Sauerbrunn’s goal to finally beat the Portland Thorns will remain with me for life. Most of all, I want this post to be a salute to Becky Sauerbrunn, the ultimate “cerebral” defender (perhaps due her brilliant headers ), leader of the club and country, consummate professional and human being.
