(WAFB) - The Southern women’s basketball team fought to the end but dropped a close one to Grambling on Saturday, Jan. 9. The Lady Jaguars (1-7, 1-1 SWAC) fell 67-64 to the Lady Tigers (2-3, 1-0 SWAC). Amani McWain recorded a double-double for Southern with 17 points and 10 rebounds. She was 7-of-11 from the field and 1-of-2 on 3-pointers. Caitlin Davis added 12 points. Raven White and Taneara Moore each chipped in 10 points.
