A body was found in a burning dumpster off Cannery Row early Thursday morning, Nashville police said.
The Nashville Fire Department responded to a report from a dump truck driver of a dumpster fire, NFD spokesperson Kendra Loney said. When NFD crews arrived, they found a body in the dumpster and called police and the fire marshal to the scene.
The dumpster was located in the 500 block of Eighth Avenue North, the Metro Nashville Police Department said in a news release. Police responded to the scene just after 4 a.m.
