HENDERSON, Ky. Henderson County has reported 92 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the past week, up sharply from the 56 cases that were reported the week before.
The Green River District Health Department has reported 490 new cases in its seven-county district over the past week an average of 70 new cases a day.
Webster County has reported 44 new cases since July 20, while Union County has had 28 new cases over the same period.
Both Henderson County and Webster County have incidence rates that have returned them to the red or critical level. The incidence rate, which measures the average daily cases per 100,000 population over the past seven days, was 31.9 in Henderson County as of Monday afternoon, while Webster County s was at 49.7. Union County is in the orange or accelerated level at 24.8 just shy of the critical threshold.
