GREEN BAY, Wis. – On Tuesday, the SI.com/FanNation team of NFL publishers conducted a mock draft, which we’ll publish at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
When I was on the clock, there were plenty of tantalizing options to fill needs.
Want a receiver to pair with Davante Adams? Minnesota receiver Rashod Bateman and Florida slot Kadarius Toney were available.

The Green Bay Packers had the best record in the NFC last season but will enter this month’s NFL Draft with some obvious areas of need.
At cornerback, they could use an upgrade opposite Jaire Alexander. On the offensive line, they lost center Corey Linsley in free agency and there is zero depth at offensive tackle, a problem considering All-Pro left tackle David Bakhtiari is coming off a torn ACL. The defensive line, even with high-priced veteran Kenny Clark, made almost no impact last season. Even with the top-ranked scoring offense, there is a long-term need, if nothing else, at receiver. And the jury is out about the young inside linebacker tandem of Krys Barnes and Kamal Martin.

Barring a trade up in this year s NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills won t be in a great position at No. 30 to get an impact pass rusher or one of the top cornerbacks, which are positions of need.
That s why they turn their attention to another position in which an upgrade might still be considered a priority: Running back. They go for more of a sure thing with Clemson s Travis Etienne, Fan Nation predicts in its 2021 mock first round, assembled by the publishers of each SI.com s team websites.
Because the running back position has come to be devalued by the NFL over the years, many of the top backs get pushed down in the first round and even out of the first round altogether in some cases.

The Denver Broncos have sent up some serious smoke signals of late as it relates to the top quarterback prospects in the 2021 NFL draft class. Holding the No. 9 overall pick, GM George Paton has traveled to get an up-close look at multiple top-10-projected signal-callers at their respective Pro Days, including North Dakota State s Trey Lance, BYU s Zach Wilson, and Ohio State s Justin Fields.
Fields is the most interesting here because Paton took with him Broncos QBs coach Mike Shula to the first Ohio State Pro Day. For the second, to be held this week, Paton is bringing with him the big gun offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur.

Did we just see some of Aaron Rodgers personality on yesterday s Jeopardy? There was a Green Bay Packers answer and no one guessed it. He then gave the contestant that answered the next clue correctly some crap. I loved it!
Best moment of the two weeks, by far. Making the roundabout reference later in the show to his own Celebrity Jeopardy! victory was the icing on the cake.
