不過由於她散佈內容未經查證，被人截圖檢舉後，警方隨即介入調查，證實內容乃不實謠言，於是便約談陳女到案說明。高雄簡易庭審理時，陳女對此喊冤，直指當天是愚人節，自己被騙也很無奈，而且好心提醒網友，才會看到有人轉傳該訊息後，又順手轉發個人IG。
