After a three-week wait, the Washington archery team recently learned how they fared in last month’s National Archery in the Schools Program Bullseye State Tournament and they cracked the top 10.
The Demons placed seventh out of 25 teams with a 3326 score and 159 bullseyes. Alexis Ide led the team with a 286 score and 18 bullseyes to rank 14th out of 316 high school girls. Jonathan Moore recorded a 285 with 19 bullseyes and placed 19th out of 323 high school boys. Other notable performances included Chase Messamaker 282, Jack Strabala 280, Lane Frana 278, Anna Venenga 278, Areil Mills 278, Cooper Reed 277, and Kenna Rathmell 275.
The Demons competed in Cardinal for the virtual tournament back on March 13th, but teams across the state had all month to record their scores.
