Wall Street Set To Open Lower BRUSSELS/FRANKFURT/PARIS (dpa-AFX) - Initial cues from the U.S. Futures Index suggest that Wall Street might open lower. Asian shares finished lower, while European shares are trading mostly lower. Trading on Wednesday might be impacted by reaction to a report on Consumer Prices in the month of April. As of 7.30 am ET, the Dow futures were down 105.00 points, the S&P 500 futures were sliding 15.00 points and the Nasdaq 100 futures were losing 81.50 points. The U.S. major indices finished lower on Tuesday. The tech-heavy Nasdaq closed down just 12.43 points or 0.1 percent at 13,389.43. Meanwhile, the Dow tumbled 473.66 points or 1.4 percent to 34,269.16 and the S&P 500 slid 36.33 points or 0.9 percent to 4,152.10.
