PESHAWAR: A lawyer on Wednesday moved the Peshawar High Court seeking orders for the government to fix the Covid-19 vaccine rate on a no profit, no loss basis and declare the lawyers, paralegals and their relatives entitled to the immediate free vaccination against the virus.
In the petition, Saifullah Muhib Kakakhel said the lawyers and paralegals were highly vulnerable to coronavirus on the high court’s premises, especially in courtrooms, where they have to sit with litigants on a daily basis.

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday ordered removal of the name of former director general of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) retired Lt Gen Asad Durrani from the Exit Control List (ECL).
Chief Justice Athar Minallah issued the order while hearing Mr Durrani’s petition seeking removal of his name from the ECL.
At the outset of the hearing, Justice Minallah asked Deputy Attorney General Syed Mohammad Tayyab as to why the name of the former ISI chief had been kept on the no-fly list.
Mr Tayyab replied that Mr Durrani’s name was on the ECL due to a pending inquiry against him.

The commission has appointed Returning Officers (ROs) and Polling Officers (POs) to conduct polls
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday finalized all necessary arrangements for holding Senate elections on Wednesday (March 3) on the seats which are going to be vacant after retirement of members on March 11.
According to an official of ECP, the polling will be held from 0900 hours to 1700 hours simultaneously in the Parliament House Islamabad, and provincial assembly buildings in Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
The polling is due on two seats in Islamabad, 11 each in Punjab and Sindh, and 12 each in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan- that will fall vacant on the expiration of the term of the members. However there will be no polling in Punjab because of un-contested elections of candidates on all 11 seats of Punjab.
