With the advancement of artificial intelligence, many have predicted that translation would be the first occupation to be fully automated. As machine learning continues to develop, this prediction does seem like an inevitability in the near future.
Looking at 2021 however, does it look like A.I. is ready to take over human translators yet? I think all of us would agree the answer is a firm NO, at least not yet. Being someone who frequently uses major translators including Google Translate, Bing Translator, Naver s Papago Translate or Baidu Translate, I can say it s still a hit-or-miss process, especially when encountering nuanced phrases or professional/specialized terms.

The Google Pixel Buds (2nd Gen) may not be the ultimate pair of earbuds we all hoped they’d be, but they still offer a set of features to get behind. They are comfortable as hell, their touch controls are the best, they look quite snazzy, and they sound pretty damn good. Sure, their connectivity issues have long-been documented, but if you get lucky and own a pair without as many bugs, they are a solid pair of buds.
Today, Google and their retail partners have discounted the Pixel Buds (2nd Gen) by $50, dropping their price to $129. If you can find them in stock (it shouldn’t be a problem), you should be able to choose between Clearly White, Almost Black, and Quite Mint colorways. The Oh So Orange model has been discontinued.

Last week, Google seemed to have accidentally leaked a photo of the upcoming truly wireless earbuds. Since then,
9to5Google has investigated the Pixel Buds app’s latest version, indicating that the rumoured Pixel Buds A could feature a lack of volume gesture controls.
According to 9to5Google, the Pixel Buds’ app includes a reference to Buds called âtype two,â whereas the current-gen buds go by the name âtype one.â The report states that the new Buds’ build does not feature the âswipe forwardâ and âswipe backwardâ code, indicating that the Google Pixel Buds A might not support swiping gestures to control volume.
