History professor Bianca Premo has been named a 2021 Guggenheim Fellow and will receive $50,000 to research and publish her book, which examines the troubling case of a young Peruvian girl who gave birth at the age of 5 in 1939.

There s not one aspect of our city not being impacted right now . and this is not a Tulsa thing. This is an Oklahoma thing.
The Tulsa Race Massacre was one of the worst episodes of racial violence in U.S. history. Between May 31 and June 1, 1921, mobs of white residents attacked, set aflame and ultimately devastated the Greenwood District, which was at that time one of the wealthiest Black communities in the United States, earning it the name Black Wall Street.

HARRISBURG, PA A raucous crowd of advocates marked this 4/20 by urging Pennsylvania state legislators to legalize cannabis and stop arresting 20,000 people for marijuana possession every year in the Keystone State.
