Qualcomm has announced the company s latest entrant in the 6 series SoCs with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 678. Qualcomm announced the new SoC through an official blog post, writing that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 is a follow-on to the Snapdragon 675, to deliver overall performance upgrades, high-speed connections for sophisticated photo and video capture, and immersive entertainment experiences. According to Vice President, Product Management, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. Kedar Kondap, Snapdragon 678 comes with advanced mobile capabilities for everyday entertainment at increased speed over reliable connections and long-lasting battery life.

A new Snapdragon 600 series mobile processor has just been introduced by Qualcomm. The Snapdragon 678 is the newest mid-range chipset that can bring high-speed mobile connection and impressive overall performance to upcoming smartphones from different OEMs. Qualcomm describes the new Snapdragon SoC as able to bring

Snapdragon 678 is an upgrade from the Snapdragon 675 processor from 2018. This one comes with a Qualcomm Kryo 460 CPU and Qualcomm Adreno 612 GPU. The mobile processor allows longer battery life, more immersive entertainment, and dynamic photography and videography features.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 SoC has been announced as the latest entrant in the company s 6-series SoCs. It comes with some performance improvements over the Snapdragon 675, which was launched back in October of 2018. Snapdragon 678 is an octa-core SoC based on an 11nm process. It is a 4G SoC with the Snapdragon X12 LTE Modem that can deliver up to 600Mbps download speeds and up to 150Mbps upload speeds. It also supports 4K video recording, dual-band Wi-Fi, and NFC.
