Eligible residents on Saturday headed to the two temporary vaccine clinics and, for the third day in a row, doses were claimed quickly.
Although the clinics were open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, by morning the Department of Public Health and Social Services reached capacity at both the clinics, according to spokeswoman Janela Carrera.
The agency implemented a ticket system, providing tickets to people in line to ensure they reserved a dose. The Joint Information Center announced Friday night that 700 ticket numbers would be given to people 60 years old and older at the Okkodo High School temporary vaccine clinic Saturday and another 200 tickets would be given to residents 60 years old and older at the Inarajan clinic.
