IDC launches climate change inquiry ahead of COP26

The International Development Committee has today launched an inquiry examining, ahead of COP26 in November, the progress the Government has made putting climate change at the centre of aid policy.
Developing countries are disproportionately affected by the impact of climate change, and less able to respond. For example, many lower-income countries are highly indebted and rely more heavily on climate sensitive sectors such as agriculture, forestry and tourism. The World Bank has suggested that Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia are among the regions most vulnerable to climate change.

WhatsApp has started rolling out its new version 2.21.71 update for its iOS app users, which brings in two new notable features. These features include improvements to media viewing and changes to Disappearing Messages settings. The company is rolling out the version 2.21.71 update in a phased manner in order to avoid server congestion, and all iOS users will get the update within the coming days. After updating the app, users will be able to see larger image and video previews, which will allow them to view content quickly instead of first opening the media. For iPhone users, WhatsApp has unveiled two major features. Now, with this latest update, iOS users can see larger media previews and have more control over the disappearing messages feature in groups. A few days ago, the features were first used in the WhatsApp beta edition, but they have now been made available to all iOS users.
WhatsApp has made it easier for iOS users to display larger media with the 2.21.71 update which means that iPhone users will no longer have to click on a photo or a video to see the full image or video. The picture or video you receive or post on the messaging app will not appear in a small square box; instead, you will be able to see it in its full size. For the time being, this feature is only available to iOS users.
