Key Chorale goes for Baroque Like other organizations that have been experimenting with digital performances and testing how many artists they can safely bring together in one space, Key Chorale is expanding its group of musicians for its “Bach Together Again” concert that makes its digital debut Friday. Artistic Director Joseph Caulkins said he chose the Baroque program, which features Vivaldi’s “Gloria” and Johann Sebastian Bach’s “Magnificat,” because of the joyful and uplifting qualities in the music. It features the Key Chorale Chamber singers, orchestra musicians and soloists. It will be available on the group’s website through Feb. 21. keychorale.org

More outdoor concerts are scheduled in coming months. That left out brass and woodwind players, who are now bringing the music to the people in a series of outdoor parks concerts that continue this weekend and extend into April. Dancing in the street Sarasota Contemporary marks its 15th anniversary with the outdoor street festival “Fiesta de Colores.” Presented from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the courtyard of Rosemary Square, adjacent to the company’s studios, it will feature DJ Karim Manning, local lyricist and B-boy Rick Levin and an interactive projection design by Logan Gabriel Schulman tp showcase highlights from SCD’s history. Artistic Director Leymis Bolaños-Willmott describes it as the quinceañera she never had as a child. There will be a premiere of a live collaborative performance with the SCD company and the Sarasota Contemporary Dance Ensemble, an elite training company for aspiring dancers.
