Highlights on HIV, TB and COVID-19

Summit Objectives:
To disseminate recent and ongoing HIV- and TB-related research from Uganda (whether PEPFAR-funded or non-PEPFAR funded)
To highlight key findings on COVID-19 and its impact on HIV- and TB- related programs in Uganda
To inform national policies, programs and disease response activities
Participants: US government PEPFAR team and implementing partners, Uganda Ministry of Health (including Public Health Fellowship Program and others), and other Ugandan health researchers.
The Summit featured four sessions led by a set of session co-chairs from PEPFAR Uganda and from key stakeholders including Ministry of Health, Makerere University School of Public Health and others. Each session consisted of a set of multiple five-minute presentations grouped by topic and given by scientists whose submitted presentations were accepted by the organizing committee.
