Real Life Mama: Loving those ‘Aha!’ moments with her daughters By Sarah Shrader - Guest columnist Every once in a while, my kid hits me with an “Aha!” moment, and I think, if only just for a second, that maybe, just maybe, they do hear some of the things that I am saying. Do you ever wonder if your kids actually listen to a word that you say? I mean clearly, my kids have yet to hear me when I ask them to put their laundry in the hamper, put their shoes where they belong or hang up their bookbag. Brushing their teeth takes sixteen reminders and half of the time I feel like I am talking to the walls when I even hint at cleaning up or baths.
