CCPO says only takeaway, home delivery allowed at restaurants

As many as eight FIRs were registered over violation of coronavirus standard operating procedures (SOPs by restaurants at Truck Ada on Ravi Road, Sabzi Mandi.
Capital City Police Officer Ghulam Mahmood Dogar himself paid surprise visits to the place to review implementation on coronavirus SOPs and government guidelines.
He raided different shops, hotels and restaurants of the city including famous food restaurants at Truck Stand Sabzi Mandi and sealed food restaurants involved in violation of the ban on indoor dining and other restrictions.

LAHORE:District Administration Lahore continued its operations against violators of corona SOPs and sealed over 49 businesses here on Friday.
DC Lahore Mudassar Riaz said that a total of 49 shops and stores were sealed and 10 persons were arrested for violating corona SOPs. Assistant Commissioner Raiwind Adnan Rasheed sealed 15 shops in Chungi Amar Sadhu and arrested 03 persons. Assistant Commissioner City Faizan Ahmed sealed 17 shops and stores and 02 restaurants and Assistant Commissioner Cantt Zeeshan Nasrullah Ranjha arrested 15 shops and stores while 07 people were arrested.

The Lahore HC during the hearing of a land grabbing case said the way the Pakistan Army occupies the properties of people is nothing but land grabbing.
In a rare event, the Lahore High Court on Wednesday reprimanded the Pakistan Army, calling it the “biggest land grabber in the country. Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice Mohammad Qasim Khan, during the hearing of a land grabbing case said the way the Army occupies the properties of people is nothing but land grabbing. The Army seems to have become the biggest land grabber in the country. The uniform of the Army is for service and not to rule as a king, he said.

LAHORE: Lahore High Court Chief Justice Mohammad Qasim Khan on Wednesday lashed out at the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) for its involvement in “illegal” occupation of lands and regretted that the army seemed to have become the “biggest land grabber”.
The chief justice was hearing petitions of three citizens seeking an order against the DHA to not disturb their lawful possession of the land they had obtained on lease from the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB).
