SRINAGAR: Farooq Abdullah, head of the People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) and National Conference president, on Thursday appealed Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to release all political detainees “for democracy to survive” in Jammu and Kashmir. He also demanded immediate restoration of 4G internet services across the valley.
PAGD members held a meeting at Farooq Abdullah’s residence at Gupkar on Thursday to discuss the post-poll situation after conclusion of the District Development Council (DDC) elections. Mehbooba Mufti could not attend the meeting and was represented by Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjuria.
