The police are assuring that with the recent arrest of seven suspected members of the feared Kings Valley Gang in Westmoreland, crime will be significantly reduced in the parish. Four males and three females were taken into custody during a major security operation in Westmoreland on Thursday. The operation was conducted by the Counter-Terrorism and Organised Crime Investigation Branch (C-TOC), supported by Specialise Operations, the Canine Division and the Caribbean Search Centre. The individuals have been brought to the Corporate Area for questioning and other processes related to ongoing investigations into crimes committed in Westmoreland.
