Nearly 33K Alliant Energy customers across Wisconsin without power amid storm

MADISON, Wis. Nearly 33,000 Alliant Energy customers are without power early Thursday morning as severe storms make their way through south-central Wisconsin.
As of 1:15 a.m., Alliant Energy’s outage map said 32,906 customers were without power in 218 outages. Alliant serves more than 971,000 customers.
In Cross Plains, more than 900 Madison Gas & Electric customers are without power, according to the company’s outage map.
