DAVIS, CA, UNITED STATES, May 11, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ Pheronym, a bio-agtech pest management company, has announced it has closed $242,000 in seed funding led by the Sacramento Angels. Other funders in the oversubscribed round included regional business leaders, agtech industry leaders and growers, including Dr. Pam Marrone, Monte Bottens and Mark Haney. Since 2017, the company has secured nearly $900,000 in grants. The company also received $250,000 of funding as part of IndieBio’s Cohort 5 as well as recently receiving $75,000 from Thrive Accelerator, bringing their total grant and venture investment funding to nearly $1.5 million.
Yesterday, as the team took on the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Sacramento Kings announced Credder as the winner of the 2021 Capitalize contest, run in collaboration with 3STEPS4WARD, the City of Sacramento Office of Innovation and Economic Development’s Sacramento Urban Technology Lab Initiative and EY.

In the face of a devastating pandemic, investing six figures on the zooâs panther habitat was not at the top of DeSantisâ priority list. He vetoed the zooâs project â along with more than $1 billion in total budget vetoes.
UHRICHSVILLE Uhrichsville Councilman Robert Baker is recovering at a Canton hospital after having a heart attack during Thursday night s council meeting.
Mayor Mark Haney said Police Chief Vince Beal, Council President Robert Cottrell, and councilmen Ron Miller and Michael Huff put the unconscious councilman on the floor while Haney notified firefighters.
Three city firefighter/paramedics who were down the hall from the council chamber in the fire station responded immediately, Haney said. They were able to stop the cardiac arrest and bring him back, the mayor said.
The mayor said he had spoken with Baker on Friday morning. He wanted to thank the firefighters and paramedics who came, Haney said.
