Westport Country Playhouse And WSHU Public Radio Partner For Audio Play

Westport Country Playhouse Radio Theater, a free-of-charge broadcast series, in partnership with WSHU Public Radio, will present the new, audio play, The Return, on Saturday, May 29, at noon, followed by a rebroadcast on Sunday, May 30, at 4 p.m. The Return is a haunting tale by Kavin Panmeechao, based on the Thai folk legend, Mae Nahg. Radio station frequencies and locations are listed at wshu.org. The Return will also be accessible on the Playhouse s website (westportplayhouse.org) from May 31 through June 20.

Concerts on Windmill Green
The lineup has been announced for the Eastham summer Concerts on Windmill Green series.
Changes to COVID-19 restrictions will allow gatherings of 250 socially distanced music fans as of May 29, and the series of outdoor shows produced by the Eastham Visitors Services Board is due to begin a month later.
With a record number of summer visitors expected this year, according to board chair Jim Russo, the concerts will be scheduled at 7 p.m. Mondays in June and July; 6 p.m. in August; and 5 p.m. in September.

The company makes machines that can take large rolls of material and convert them into smaller rolls ready for canisters.
“We know whats happening with the demand and we just want to do our part to help our customer,” said Steve Long.
