The Wanderers followed up last week s dramatic 3-2 derby win over Sydney with a 5-0 drubbing of fellow finals aspirants Western United on Saturday.
Their best performance of the season lifted Western Sydney back into the top six, though seventh-placed Brisbane are just a point behind with three games in hand prior to Sunday s away clash with ladder leaders Melbourne City. The last two games we ve got into our groove, got into our rhythm, we ve taken our chances, which is important, and we ve defended for our lives, Robinson said. Football is about what you do in both boxes, the key to it all is defending, last ditch tackles, blocking, heading, all these things.

The 19-year-old has appeared in 15 of the Roar s 17 matches this season, helping Warren Moon s team to concede a league-low 17 goals.
With influential captain Tom Aldred still sidelined by a hamstring injury, Trewin has ensured the Englishman s absence hasn t derailed the Roar s campaign.
Playing in central defence, the teenager was a key part in maintaining a clean sheet in Saturday s 0-0 draw with Wellington Phoenix at a waterlogged Moreton Daily Stadium.
Trewin will again be charged with keeping things intact at the back on Wednesday alongside experienced duo Macaulay Gillesphey and Scott Neville when Western travel to Redcliffe for a vital game in the race for the top six.

Matchweek 19 comes to its conclusion with an A-League double-header on Wednesday, May 5, with Brisbane Roar hosting Western United before Melbourne City travel to take on Perth Glory.
The Roar are eyeing off a place in the top six leading into the contest with Western United at Moreton Daily Stadium, kicking off at 7.05pm AEST. Warren Moon s side are eighth on the A-League table but can jump Western Sydney Wanderers, United and Macarthur FC to surge into fifth with a Wednesday-night win.
United occupy sixth position heading into its second game of Matchweek 18, after playing out a goalless draw with Adelaide United on Friday, April 30.
“This will be our first match in New Zealand in 14 months – that’s 433 days since we last played in front of our true home fans in this country,” general manager David Dome said. “Our fans in Wellington, Auckland and across New Zealand deserve to see their team play live this season.” Dome has set a target of attracting crowds in excess of 15,000 for the two New Zealand fixtures, which would surpass the 14,402 that attended the Sydney derby match between Sydney FC and Western Sydney Wanderers in January.
