Covenant Health, the parent company of Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge, is planning to work with local health departments to provide vaccines to people age 75 and over.
That statement came from Covenant Health Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer Debbi Honey during a virtual press conference. She said more information would come out that day, Monday, Jan. 11. However, that information had not come out as of late Monday afternoon. The Oak Ridger will publish the information as it becomes available.
“People see that there’s hope,” Honey said. “The vaccine is our first hope to get out of this.”
