FAYETTE COUNTY, Tenn. (WMC) - Five teens who escaped from Wilder Youth Development Center ended up on a familyâs front porch asking to make a phone call.
The family said it was early in the morning and they soon realized who the teens were.
âI came to the door. I was like who is it? So, they were like our car broke down. Can we use the phone,â said Bianca Jones.
Australian Wine CONNECTs with Global Wine Trade
The global wine trade can now connect with Australian wineries via a first-of-its-kind virtual marketplace – Australian Wine CONNECT – replacing global expos and on-ground activity impacted by travel constraints.
More than 1500 trade representatives from 44 countries registered for the launch events of CONNECT. Wine Australia Chief Executive Officer Andreas Clark said, with 232 Australian wineries featured and more than 2000 wines, CONNECT was already creating multiple sales leads daily between wineries, importers, retailers and on-trade.
‘Its unique virtual expo format presents a new way of doing business. It was designed to bring people together, regardless of location, time zones or travel restrictions, enabling business conversations with Australian wineries’, he said.

Tamburlaine Organic Wines (Tamburlaine) is pleased to announce an innovative collaboration with Jamie Durie to create a small batch of wines called ‘True Earth Collective’, set to do a whole lot of good.
As is the Tamburlaine way, the very limited, quality releases are from organically certified vineyards, but these wines also come with extra benefits.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Jamie and Planet Ark on a project that is so synergistic with our values,” said Mark Davidson, Tamburlaine’s Chief Winemaker.
“Tamburlaine has prioritised organic and regenerative farming practices across our vineyards for over two decades now. We’re staunch believers that it’s the way forward for winemaking and more broadly for agriculture in Australia,” Mark said.

Another couple of COVID cases announced at local public schools
Poll
Yes, this is enough
The Medicine Hat Public School Division announced on Monday night two additional COVID-19 cases at its schools.
Alberta Health Services identified the new cases at Ken Sauer School and Crestwood School. Ken Sauer now has two active cases connected with the school and the new case at Crestwood School is its only current active case.
All close contacts have been identified and started their quarantine. Both schools remain open to all unaffected students and staff.
“We are confident based on AHS guidance, that those who have not been directed to quarantine can attend school safely,” says a release on the division’s website.
