The governor also announced $1.5 billion in line-item vetoes. That s up from just over a $1 billion last year. But those are just the raw numbers. Fully $1.35 billion of those vetoes involved federal American Rescue Plan money. Funds the governor turned down because he had hoped to use it for emergency reserves but federal rules would not allow it.
So this means turkeys – state budget items thrown in by the Legislature without going through regular channels – got off lightly this budget. Still, $125,000 for license plate reading cameras in Port Orange and $400,000 for the Volusia County Water Resiliency and Water Interconnect Project did end up on the cutting room floor.

Zachary will play Jim Goodwin, based on Pitts, while Jacob stars as killer Bobby Falls, who is based on Ranes.
The movie has been inspired by Conrad Hilberry s book Luke Karamzov and the real-life testimony from Pitts – the only survivor of Ranes killing spree.

“Star Trek” star Zachary Quinto and “Euphoria” actor Jacob Elordi will star together in “He Went That Way,” a road trip crime thriller that’s set in the ’60s and is based on a true story.
Jeffrey Darling, a commercial director, will make his feature film directorial debut, and Mister Smith Entertainment is handling worldwide sales of the film to buyers at the Cannes Film Market.
