Police are appealing for more information after a teenage girl was raped in a park in broad daylight. A 14-year-old girl was waling on open land to the south of Westleigh Park between 4pm and 5.30pm on Thursday April 22when she was approached by an unknown man. The man pulled her into some bushes before raping her. The man is described at a white man, around 6 feet tall and with green eyes. He is believed to be around 20-years old or younger and was wearing a black hooded top, black Covid mask, black jogging bottoms with two white stripes and green trainers with black laces.

Police are hunting a masked attacker after a 14-year-old girl was dragged into bushes and raped.
The attacker targeted the girl as she walked on open land to the south of Westleigh Park in Leigh, Wigan, on Thursday afternoon.
The offender is described as white, 6ft tall, aged about 20 with green eyes. He is said to have a southern accent and a black tattoo on the right side of his neck.
