Croatia Airlines sees 89% decline in bookings in Q1

Croatia Airlines sees 89% decline in bookings in Q1 Get link Other Apps Croatia Airlines has registered an 89% decline in bookings during the first quarter of the year when compared to the same period in 2020 as the coronavirus pandemic continues to ravage the aviation industry. The global health emergency only partially affected the first quarter of last year, while ticket sales were also higher in early 2020 due to Croatia’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The Croatian carrier said bookings were down on all routes and markets during the first three months of 2021. “The pandemic has changed booking dynamics. Select markets which had a high volume of early bookings now have negligible numbers. On other markets, primarily those in Europe, we expect late bookings, which will, in large part, depend on the epidemiological situation and restrictions in each country”, Croatia Airlines said.
