War veteran Raymond Brooks, 99, who is cycling for charity. WAR veteran Raymond Brooks has taken on a charity challenge at 99 years old. He is cycling on his exercise bike for 15 minutes a day and hopes to raise £1,000 each for his chosen charities, Macmillan Cancer Support and Blind Veterans UK. His twin daughters, Wendy Harris and Trudy King, are immensely proud and hope people will support his endeavour. Trudy said: At the start of lockdown in March, dad started cycling 15 minutes a day as he is so mobile and was concerned about his mobility and health being stuck at home. He lives on his own and still drives his own car he is amazing.
