Fraudsters have utilised this and lots of scams are circulating that asks people to pay for the vaccine. Cumbria Trading Standards said; Remember, the vaccine is free. The NHS will never ask you for payment or banking details in order to receive the vaccine. Anyone who receives a scam can report it to Action Fraud.

SCAM ALERT: New data reveals the companies most targested by fraudsters Cumbria Trading Standards are making residents aware of a fake Hermes text message that is circulating. The text says: “Sorry we missed you earlier, we have your parcel, to book a redelivery follow the link.” The link then takes you through to a scam website. Cumbria Trading Standards are warning people to not click the link.
